Melton Borough Council – Manufacturing Action Zones

Development strategy looking at the programming of development across 3 major employment sites in private and public ownerships to consider uses and sequencing and in support of the delivery of the Melton Mowbray Distributor Road and increasing economic activity within the town centre. 

The MAZ work picked up on town wide strategy and formed an holistic delivery structure for both regeneration and employment uses to support the economic growth of the town in the context of Leicester and Nottingham, centred on the Rural Capital of Food concept.  Primary research was carried out on an industry wide basis to determine issues and options in the context of Covid-19 and Brexit.
